WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
DENTAL CLEANINGS
to keep YOUR pet smiling!

Picture

Here are three examples to give you an idea of why you should consider dentistry for your pet:
Pet “A” - If you take good care of your pet’s teeth with special chews and annual cleanings, the cost of a typical dental is only approx. $225 depending on the size of the pet.  A pet whose owner has taken these measures can often go through life keeping all or most of their teeth!

Pet “B” - If you haven’t kept up on the dental care, the teeth will develop a lot of tartar which will be accompanied by substantial gingivitis. Once it gets to this point, an average dental cleaning will often run between $350-$550. Often, several teeth will be loose and need to come out.

Pet “C” - If the teeth go untended even longer, you can expect that your pet will need extensive tooth removal at the time of the cleaning due to tooth & gum damage, & abscessing. The cost can go up to $600 & beyond.

To do a dental on a pet, we administer gas anesthesia as animals simply will not sit still and tolerate this procedure like a human will. He/She will need to spend several hours with us.

IMPORTANT: Dental Health goes beyond clean teeth and fresh breath! An unhealthy mouth can drastically affect the health and longevity of your beloved pet! Please help your pet out & schedule his/her dentistry SOON!
